Throughout the history of the Christian Church there has been the commemoration and celebration of the day of Pentecost; the day Christians recognize as the day that God poured out the third part of the triune God head (trinity) known as the Holy Spirit upon the eleven remaining disciples and those who believe.
Pentecost Sunday is celebrated fifty days after Easter (or resurrection Sunday) and ten days after the Ascension of Jesus.
